On August 30th, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, enrich the cultural life of the citizens, and promote the cultural consumption of the capital, the 7th Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season "Anar Market" was hold in the Stanford Plaza, Pomegranate Center . The Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season is jointly sponsored by Beijing Municipal Cultural Resources Center, Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau, which is an important platform and brand activity for cultural innovation development. Since its establishment in 2013, it has been successfully held for six sessions, and has been recognized and praised by the general public in terms of promoting the cultural lifestyles and enriching the cultural benefits.
This was the first time for the Anar market to held event with childlike as the theme, which mainly included five major sections including the creative graffiti, cool performances, fun games, handcraft workshops and the flea markets. While responding to the call to benefit the people with culture life and stimulating the consumption of popular culture, the Anar group strives to create a fun-filled feast for parents and children as the school season approaches!
The scene of the event was lively and exciting, and the oversized graffiti wall allowed children who love painting to unleash their creativity with their paintbrushes. The clown riding a unicycle made a big appearance in the bazaar, bring a lot of joy to the children as a very popular hilarious "star" in the bazaar. Also there were many other shows including the bubble show magic, robot parade, cute kid talent show, sweet sugar painting. And the soft and cute cotton candy with different shapes, egg tart, pomegranate juice, all kinds of special foods amazed the taste buds of the children on the scene, impressing them with good memories of the time spent at the Anar market.
The most eye-catching in the market is the flea market. Children played the roles of “boss” and “customer”, clearly marking the prices of their books and toys, and finding new destinations for their favorite items. The event not only improved their communication skills, but also helped them to make new friends.
The ceremony kicked off in the children's wonderful drum performance, following by the hip-hop performance. Then the versatile children used calligraphy and Guzheng to demonstrate the wonderful childlike world and the heritage and elegance of the oriental culture, bringing a light and melodious, traditional classical audiovisual feast. At the end of the show, the relevant person in charge of the 7th Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season took the stage and stamped the seal with the symbol of "Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season" in the children's calligraphy work "Anar Market", which marked The official launch of the market and opened a new chapter of the cultural consumption in the south Beijing.
During the Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season, the Fengtai municipal government carefully planned a series of themed activities in six sectors including opera and books. The Anar Market would last for three days, from August 30 to September 1. It is said that the "Anar Market" activities would be an important part of the Huimin cultural consumption season in Fengtai District, which will continue to be held in Beijing, Hebei and other places, with the aim to promote the high-quality cultural and creative products in Beijing and drive the regional cultural consumption in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
